Established in 1986, Latitude Catering started as a local event caterer specializing in outdoor barbeques. In the early 90s, the company was called upon for service with local, state, and federal agencies for catering on emergency events such as wildfires and hurricanes.
Building the business to service those needs, Latitude Catering, and then known as Port-A-Pit Catering, first contracted with the US Forest Service. The Company has held those contracts continuously since.
Latitude Catering has provided service on multiple local, state, and national fires. The Company has also been involved with Hurricanes Katrina, Ike, and Ivan. The Space Shuttle Columbia recovery mission and the building of the border fence are also on our resume.
